Bunch of Sickos in my House
For real. Kendall said her stomach was bothering her this morning and since I had to work today, Chris stayed home w/ her (which was probably a good thing because he's all congested and really stuffed up -- allergies, perhaps?). Poor guy. He's mowing the front yard as I type. I'm sure that's really going to help his congestion.
Here are a couple pics of my babies that I'm always talking about. Unfortunately today was another not-so-great day at pre-school. JuJu was out sick and Meredith was a no show (she is so damn cute it's not even funny!). We still have a couple of children that are having a hard time settling in. They still fuss over mama. It was beautiful here today so we played on the playground as long as we could. :

My luva-boy sent me a beautiful autumnal bouquet for our 15th anniversary . . . zinnias, wheat stalks, raffia around the vase and river rocks at the bottom. He sent it early so I wouldn't be waiting around tomorrow wondering where the heck my flowers are! I'm not a very patient person and it's cool that Chris recognizes this.
Big Bumpus football game Thursday vs. Simmons. T wants us to go to the game, not sure I want to spend my 15th wedding anniversary w/ thousands of screaming football fans. Friday is Hoover's big game vs. Vestavia. If Hoover plays the way they have the last couple of games, they're going to be in big trouble against Vestavia.
Taylor went to the mall Monday afternoon w/ friends and bought a $310 dress @ Belk's for $10. She's going to wear it for Halloween and be a prom queen.

Cleaning Day
I have spent the entire day cleaning. I haven't had a day w/out interruptions in a long, long time. I got a lot accomplished today but still have more to do. It seems like I never have an ENTIRE day to deep clean. I always need to be somewhere, dropping somebody off, picking somebody up, cheering somebody on or volunteering to do something. Once again, Chris is helping me out greatly today by picking Kendall up at the bus stop and taking her to dance. Taylor drove with them even though her class doesn't start until 6:30 PM. She said it's easier for her to get her homework done at the studio and it's one less car trip I have to make. I should sleep really, really good tonight!

Dancing w/ the Stars
Didn't get a chance to watch Dancing w/ the Stars tonight but we'll try to watch the results show. I don't have a favorite yet but I know Kendall likes the Cheetah girl. Chris keeps hoping they bring back Lisa Rinna. Whatever.
T got some good news this afternoon . . . her braces will officially be removed on December 18!!! The end of this month will be her 1 year anniversary so by the time they come off she will only have had to wear braces for approx. 13 1/2 months. Dr. Whitehead said she's doing just super.
Today kicks-off our week-long b-day/anniversary celebration: niece Britt's b-day 10/11, our 15th Anniversary 10/11, Chris's 40th b-day 10/12, KJ 8th b-day 10/13, Grammie's b-day 10/15. I think I need to go to Hallmark.

A couple of pics from the lacrosse fields yesterday afternoon. Taylor did awesome; just wish they had a league for KJ to play in. I think she'd really enjoy it.
T & KJ had off from school today but I had to work until 1 PM so they were home together for a little while. I only rec'd 1 phone call at work so that's good! T has an orthodontist appointment a little later this afternoon and Kendall wants to go to the movies tonight to see the movie w/ the Rock.

Sunday morning
"Man finds happiness in a word that comes from the lips of a woman." -- Ahmed
No Sunday school today so we all got to sleep in a little late. I actually slept super great for a change! Kendall fell asleep on the couch last night while watching TV so I just covered her up and left her there.
Chris will be home a little later today. Taylor has lacrosse this afternoon and I think Chris will be heading straight to Fall Ball from Atlanta. I've got a bunch of lax equipment I'm supposed to take to Fall Ball and I've also got to pick-up cheerleading sweatshirts, extra socks and water bottles today.
It's still been so hot here. I think today is supposed to be 88 or 89. It's crazy -- it's mid-October!!!

It's gonna be a long nite . . . .
God help me. It's only 7:30 PM Saturday night and Kendall has already broke out the karaoke machine.
