"You've got to think about big things while you're doing small things, so that all the small things go in the right direction." -- Alvin Toffler
My morning went to hell in a handbasket pretty darn quickly. It all started last night when I picked T up from play rehearsal. She was exhausted. She took 2 aspirin, laid on the couch, and pulled a blankie over her head. I have never seen Taylor like that. She was out like a light by 7 PM. I was supposed to bring in some sausage rolls and stay to serve the middle school students at a reading breakfast this morning. Since T was so tired, I thought I'd be a good mom, let her sleep in late and I would just check her in when I went to the school at 8:30 AM. That's not exactly how it happened. KJ was up all night with a horrible barking cough. Chris is out of town so I can't leave her home while I'm at the middle school. So, I ended up checking T in, dropping my food off and now I've got KJ sick in my bed. Why does this stuff always happen when the hubster isn't home??? Oh! On top of everything else, I missed garbage pick-up today. I was butt naked, about to jump in the shower when I heard the truck rolling down the street.

oH YAH, had days like that too! Hope everyone feels better soon :)
Hi. I'm laughing at your post b/c mine was similar. kate was exhausted and not feeling well so she didn't go to school but i still had to take the 3 packages of sister shubert rolls up to 8-3. luckily, i made it to ssc just in the nick of time and the boys were able to go in to school with the safety patrol kids. at least i didn't have to check them in.
