Old Home Night

Met Chris out for dinner tonight and saw a ton of peeps in the Mexican restaurant. Actually saw the priest from our church, Connor from lax and his mom Jill, T's softball coach and his family, and Zachary from the Tuesday/Thursday class; he was w/ his parents and Anderson & his family (Anderson was in mine and Margaret's class but left shortly before Christmas).

Had my pedi today. Just as I was at the reception desk settling up, I rec'd the call that schools were closing early. Thought I was going to miss the girls at the bus stop, there was so much traffic! All the mom's were rushing home to get their kids. Seriously, from Wal-Mart on it was bumper-to-bumper.

KJ's all packed and ready to go to Girl Scout camp tomorrow. She packed her own bag but I went thru it and added a few things/took a few things out. Both girls have a bunch of old softball socks from playing over the years. They have red Alabama clay stains all over them. I told KJ to wear the socks, if they get wet & muddy she should just throw them out at camp and put on a fresh pair. Do not bring home wet nasty socks.

T's @ the movies w/ friends and the lady down the street has asked her to baby-sit Saturday morning. T sat for her Thursday night and the neighbor has asked T if she'll be around this summer. I think the little girl really, really likes T. The mom told her that one morning after T babysat the night before, the little girl woke up saying, "Good Morning T" instead of "Good Morning Mommy."
