T minus 3 days and counting . . .

Can't believe the kids go back to school Thursday. From 1 - 3 PM today was KJ's Meet the Teacher where you meet the teacher and drop off your school supplies, get your desk organized, sign some emergency forms, etc. She does know several kids in her class so she was happy. I had one impression of the teacher immediately upon meeting, tried to be a little more open-minded at the 5:30 PM Parent Meeting. First impression stuck. We'll see how the year goes.

After Meet the Teacher we were on a search for footwear. We went to Marshall's and Payless and somehow ended up at a teen consignment shop. T bought 3 pairs of jeans. One of them was a brand new paper of Paper Cloth Denim for only $45 (we've seen this brand in the stores for $100-$160).

Chris mowed the lawn after dinner and now he & KJ are having a water balloon fight on the front yard.
