Very, very hot here today. Friday is supposed to be even hotter. August is here. After we clean Kendall's room, I think we will just sit at the pool for a while.
Kendall had SO much fun at at the amusement park today. I'm not sure what the real name of this one particular ride is but we always call it "the toilet bowl" because that's what it sort of looks like. Anyway, Kendall thought it was hysterical that her teacher flushed her down the toilet bowl at the water park. Unfortunately, she played hard today and was a cranky mess at cheerleading practice tonight. She fell apart a little bit and sat in the car for a while. Hopefully she's relaxed from her bubble bath and is ready to unwind and get a good night's sleep. This week we've been cleaning her closet and dresser drawers and getting rid of everything she's outgrown (which is most of her wardrobe!).
T-bone comes home Friday. Kind of forgot what she looks like! Kendall has missed her terribly! We've talked on the phone several times a day and she sounds like she's had a BLAST!
