If you are single there is always one thing you should take out with you on a Saturday night... your friends.” - - Sarah Jessica Parker
Nice, relaxing day today. We woke up fairly early (for us anyway) and went to a pancake breakfast that T's middle school football team was having. We've known these boys since we moved here 8 years ago and I didn't recognize half of them. When T started middle school, the girls were all about the clothes and make-up and definately matured faster than the boys. Seriously, without a helmet and a jersey w/ their name & # on the back, I wouldn't know who some of these kids are. The boys are starting to catch up. They're getting very tall and not quite so dorky and immature. After the breakfast, a whole bunch of kids went to a neighborhood pool and tonight they're all going to the movies.
We did some shopping at Costco after the breakfast (how exciting!!!) and Kendall spent the day w/ her friend Bailey at a pool party. Chris and I had the whole house to ourselves. I laid on the couch for a few minutes to catch up on my TiVo and ended up taking an awesome nap. I was out like a light and in a very deep sleep. Chris bought the movie "300" at Costco so I'm sure it will be on tonight's agenda. Not sure if I want to watch it. It looks very violent however the cashier at Costco said it was "one of the greatest movies ever made." Guess I'll have to take his word for it.
Still stupid hot here. I think Monday is supposed to be 101. I hate Alabama this time of the year. Check back with me in late September / early October and I'll tell you this is the most beautiful place on earth.
