Another Great Day on Tap!

Whoop! Whoop! Had another wonderful day and it's not over yet! Such gorgeous weather, although a little more overcast than yesterday. Had a great family breakfast, had our weekly catch-up session with Tbone and did some family housework. KJ hates doing chores but she still needs to do her share around the house. Obviously, I'm not asking her to do hard labor, just some light dusting, setting the table, emptying the dishwasher, etc. Someday she'll thank me for making her a responsible adult. Someday.

I ran a bunch of errands today, had the print of the girls framed and hung it up in the family room, bought a new doggie gate to block off the staircase and some doggie treats for Trixie, bought some steaks to put on the grill tonight and picked up a couple of things to finalize my Valentine's Day dining room table scape. Luv, luv, luv Valentine's Day.
Got to spend some time with a good friend this week. We don't get to visit much but I love her very much and value our friendship. She's in such a deep dark difficult place right now and I feel helpless. I wish I could make things better for her but I just don't know what to do or say.
