Friday! Yay! It's Finally Here!!!!

What in the Hell is Britney Spears doing/thinking? Obviously, she's not thinking. She asks for and rec'vs an emergency hearing yet she doesn't even go in the building. This is the case of an extremely young, extremely immature woman who probably shouldn't have custody of her children right now. She is not displaying any basic maternal character traits, she acts cute & coy and flirtatious w/ the press one minute, the next minute she's yelling for everyone to leave her alone. But to not even get out of the car and make an appearance in court to get your kids back??? Obviously those boys just aren't a top priority to her right now.

Just trying to get mine & T's packing done for Chicago. Our flight leaves B'ham @ 7:20 AM. YIKES!! We arrive at 9:05 so we have all day to walk around and done some sightseeing (and a little shopping . . . she needs a couple of belts and a pair of black pumps PLUS we have to stop in at American Girl for a certain little someone.

Tonight we have our annual lacrosse fundraiser. It's a lot of fun. Everyone brings a couple of items to auction off w/ the proceeds going to the team. It's amazing . . . one person's trash is another person's treasure. Some new kids on the team this year; hopefully they have fun, silly parents. I like parents I can sit in the stands with and laugh.

KJ did some Yoga/Pilates last night before she went to bed. Hopefully that stretched the stress right out of her and she had a better night's sleep. She did seem to wake up a little better/happier this morning.

Still getting phone calls regarding Buddy. There's is a dead possum on the right side of SSC just before you turn into SSC Elementary. Several people have called "hoping it's not my doggie." I even had a neighbor wright me a very sweet letter yesterday and she stuck it in my mailbox. Monday will be 4 weeks. I think it's time to let go.
