A Sunday well-spent brings a week of content."

Nice day today. KJ and I walked down to the courts this morning and played a little tennis. The sun was out and the air was a little crisp. We had a lot of fun and had a couple of good volley's going. I haven't been on the tennis courts since that fateful day a couple of summers ago when I twisted my ankle and Chris rushed me to the emergency room.

Mr. Wall came over to watch some football with Chris and I think at one point he actually fell asleep in the recliner. KJ has this weird fascination w/ drunks lately and came upstairs and told me Mr. Wall has had too much to drink and is asleep in the recliner just like dad does. Just to clarify, Troy was not drunk and Chris doesn't pass out in the recliner on a regular basis. He merely "rests" his eyes sometimes.

KJ's scout troop had an outing at the roller rink this afternoon. KJ wears rollerblades so she can take the turns pretty well.

On our way back from the rink we set out some more signs for Buddy. Other than those 2 false leads, still no word.

KJ also stopped at a few of our neighbors and sold some girl scout cookies.

Went out for Mexican tonight for dinner. I really didn't feel like cooking and fortunately Chris was in the same mood.

Tracy & Shawn: you would have cracked up yesterday at softball registration. Ed Covington walks in w/ Grace & Lilly. Grace is all ready for softball sign-ups, Lilly on the other hand, was a TOTAL princess. She had on hot pink leather cowboy boots, a purple leopard purse and a big honkin' gold necklace around her neck. I think she even had lip gloss on. She is TOO freakin' cute!!!

“Sunday clears away the rust of the whole week."
