Lots of Trouble

Wow.  I've had nothing but problems with the new blogger.  Can't post, basically can't do much.  IDK what's going on but I'm not happy.  Am I the only one experiencing this?  I'll be in the "posting zone" typing away and then BAM!  When I hit the Save button I get an error message and lose everything.  Doesn't matter if I save early and save often or wait until the end, I lose everything and get frustrated and don't blog.  Meh.

It appears that the Blogging Gods are with me today so here goes:

Holy Crow we have been the Crazy Cos Fam for a while now and it doesn't look like it's going to let up anytime soon.  The next two weeks are consumed with graduation stuff, graduation teas, graduation parties, buccanette teas, award ceremonies, banquets, end of year parties, you name it.

The last couple of weeks have been all about lacrosse.  T scored her 100 goal (and then some), we had senior night for both the Boys & Girls Varsity teams, both the girls AND the boys teams went to the semi-finals last Friday and both teams, unfortunately, lost by one.  Both were extremely exciting games and both teams should have won.

The girls went into triple over-time and lost by 1 in sudden death.  They played a helluva game and had an incredible season.  Those girls left it all on the field and couldn't have played any harder.  Yes, they were upset but it was really OK.  I think they were more sad that it was over, not necessarily that they lost.  This team has come SO far.  T's sophmore year they didn't win a single game and this year they had an almost perfect season.

The boys game against Grissom was a whole different story.  The refereeing was AWFUL and they called "no goal" on a shot that was clearly a goal.  I mean CLEARLY.  Not only did they call "no goal," but the Grissom goalie knew it was a goal and threw his stick and ball up in the air in frustration immediately following the shot.  HE totally knew he gave up a goal.  And that right there was the game changer.  So, not only we were robbed of a goal, but they didn't call unsportsman-like on the goalie and give him a penalty.  Needless to say, it got kind of ugly fast.

Saturday is the 2nd Annual Alabama/Mississippi All-Star Showcase for both boys & girls high school players representing the best players from both states.  This is an elite event and it's so tough on Coach.  Naturally he thinks all his players are superstars and wants to nominate them all.  5 of his boys made the team.  Unfortunately each position has limited representation so for some of the kids it's one of those "it's an honor just to be nominated" type of things.  At the game they will announce All-State selection and this Showcase is a great opportunity for some of the underclassman to get some playing time in front of college coaches.  T made the girls Showcase team and it would be awesome if she was selected for her 3rd consecutive All-State.
