"Going beyond is as bad as falling short." -- Chinese Proverb (I will keep this in mind this year as I decorate for the holidays!)
Nice, quiet, relaxing day today (the majority of which was spent taking down the "autumnal" decorations and cleaning out the garage). Tonight Chris is making homemade pizza and we'll just chill. Last night we watched "Deck the Halls" w/ Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick. Everytime Matthew Broderick opened his mouth, a scene from Ferris Bueller would run thru my mind. Anyway, I'm a sucker for a stupid Christmas movie . . . National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation w/ Chevy Chase, Christmas w/ the Kranks w/ Jamie Lee Curtis and Tim Allen (I just about pee my pants when he gets botox and tries to eat the fruit cup). Of course, my all-time favorite is A Christmas Story! (There's a great article on http://www.offbeathomes.com/ about how the original house from the movie was bought on e-Bay and restored in Cleveland, OH).
