"What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal." -- Albert Pike
What a nice, lazy Sunday. It's 1:30 PM and the plan is to stay in my pajamas as long as humanly possible. I am not leaving the house today. The car is not leaving the garage (except in the event of severe vomiting, loss of limb, or the need to pick-up some takeout for dinner!).
T had some friends over last night. The kids were good, just loud. Thank God it was a nice night and they could hang out on the deck. Most of the kids were picked up around 10:30 PM. Shortly before 11 PM, I told all the kids that lived in the neighborhood to start walking home because I was going to bed.
Spoke w/ Chris a little earlier today. They were already at Texas Stadium to start tailgating. Sounds like they had a good time last night hanging out, catching up on old times. Isn't it funny how w/ truly good friends you can always pick-up where you left off? You may go years w/out seeing each other in person, but when you finally do, it feels like just yesterday.
