Tuesday B4 School

Wow! The school clock is counting down fast!

KJ had hip-hop 2nite and Chris had men's practice. I walked around the field for a mile and ran up the bleachers twice (I know, I know. It's not the 3 or 4 miles my Facebook/Blogger friend Tracy does daily but hey! This Yankee hates the heat and I certainly hate the kitchen!).

KJ & I ran to the bookstore before meeting Chris for dinner. I broke down and bought the 2nd book in the Twilight saga. I guess I'm just gonna have to see this thing thru to the end. I bought Twilight the week the latest book was coming out. At that time, the lady in the book store invited me to the midnight launch party at the end of the week for the new book. Well, tonight when I bought book #2, she told me they had almost 3oo people in the store the night the latest book came out. I'm guessing all 300 people were fans and most of the 300 bought copies of the book. I went on the Twilight website to make sure I had the books in the right order before I bought book #2 and they had a section about "midnight parties." So, I'm guessing this occurred across the country. Do the math. That's a lot of books!

Bright & early tomorrow (emphasis on the "bright" and WAAAYYY too "early") GW is coming over for the day. Mom is back to school and she needed some help w/ the kids. Guess I'll just have to drag her around w/ me while I do my errands. If she thinks she's gonna sit at the pool and relax all day, she's got another thing coming. KJ informed me on the way home from hip-hop that she has no socks and T needs a few things. Maybe I'll follow Tracy's lead and go to the Tar-jay that opened a couple exits down the road. I didn't even know it was there until we went to Tuscaloosa last week. T also noticed there is a Maurice's and a Rue 21. She doesn't really need anything other than shoes.

OMG!!! T is flippin' channels and Two-A-Days in on MTV. Holy freakin' Deja Vu!!!

Vonnie, if you're reading this meet us at Panera around 9 AM Thursday for a back-to-school breakfast. I don't have your e-mail!
